Cats.
Since I haven't updated since I got engaged, which seems FOREVER ago, I decided to take the time that I'm using to stall until my friends get here to update. It's slightly hard to type since I treated myself to gel nails yesterday, but I'll continue.
Today was pretty useless. Dan and I layed around all day, cleaned the apartment, searched for quarters to do laundry, you know, boring stuff. We're going out tonight with 4 friends from high school, which should be fun now that I'm finally drinking age.
It's annoying because you're supposed to find your best friends in college, but Dan and I have been too busy to even care about social stuff. We have a ton of friends at school, but not the type you invite over to go out with. They're the type where you communicate solely by text or email, and it's usually something to do with homework or school. Kind of depressing, we don't have any friends, but whatever.
One of the friends I DO have from college just got engaged! We're very excited for him, especially since we know just how exciting it is to be engaged.
Other than that, nothing new on the east side. Just trying to hang out in this ghost of a college town since everyone's left for the summer.
It's weird hearing that everyone's going home when we're just staying put. Another year in this shit hole of an apartment. Alright, I'm just kidding, it's not that bad, it just gets REALLY warm in the summer since all we have is an air unit in the bedroom that is poorly positioned to spread the wealth.
Oh, and we got a cat. Her name is Kiara and she's adorable. I used the icon from Lion King 2 because that's who she's named after.
Well I'm going to get going. I've stalled enough I believe, people should be here shortly. Cheerio!
