Family vacations involved staying at hotels: though notably, they never involved airplanes. We were road trippers--I have driven to Maine, to Florida, and even to Texas, from northeast PA. This involves many a Hampton Inn or equivalent.
Your clothing was all bought new before you turned 18: HA! My mother made me clothes until I was 18, and in fact sometimes she still does.
Your parents bought you a car that was not a hand-me-down from them: again HA! My parents could have afforded to buy me a (used) car, but they believe in teaching responsibility. Thus my dad took me to the bank and I took out a $2K loan to pay for my 88 VW Fox. I was really proud of myself when I paid off that car, but don't tell my dad that.

Flew anywhere on a commercial airline before you turned 16: only once, the year I turned 16.
Went on a cruise with your family
Went on more than one cruise with your family
Your parents took you to museums and art galleries as you grew up: if only I knew where that family vacation to DC would lead.
You were unaware of how much heating bills were for your family: I definitely still do not know this.
In seriousness, though, it's good to start the new year off remembering how fortunate you are. I mean, even if you never flew for family vacations.
