Yesterday we had the preliminary rounds of the mock trial competition I am running. It went remarkably well, and I was pretty proud of myself and the rest of our exec board. AND YET I woke up this morning in a panic about the 80 million other things I have to do. Thus the Morning of Productivity, which hopefully will morph into the Day of Productivity, and perhaps even the Week/Month/Semester/Year of Productivity.
What I have done this morning
+registered for and put deposit down ($250 of the THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS that I will have to pay) for my bar review course
+registered for MPRE (multistate professional responsibility exam) review course, since I am taking MPRE on Nov. 3
+prepared an additional writing sample (because one is apparently not enough) for NY interview on Friday
+sent writing sample and resume to coordinator for NY interview on Friday
+reserved bus tickets on Chinatown bus to get to NY on Friday and back to DC on Saturday
+confirmed four volunteers for volunteer project I am coordinating tomorrow
+planned class schedule for spring semester: if all goes as planned, I will take the bare minimum of credits, only have two exams-- both done by April 25, not go to class before 11, only have one class on Monday and none on Friday, and generally, learn as little as possible.
+send reminder to my students about their assignment due tomorrow, since I've only received one so far
What I have not done this morning
-showered
-changed out of my pajamas
Still to do today
+lesson planning for my class
+more job applications
+reading trusts and estates
+research & memo for work
+call my parents
+maybe, shower
Back to...the Day of Productivity!!!
