only one womb left on the Court

I've been searching all day for this article by Anna Quindlen, written just after the President signed the partial-birth abortion ban that the Supreme Court just upheld.  I'm a huge fan of Anna Quindlen.  Actually, I want to BE Anna Quindlen.  This is one of her best articles, I think, and I highly recommend it.  I think she does a pretty good job of pointing out why the extremists on both sides of this issue are pretty much ridiculous and why the debate goes nowhere.  Mostly, though, I think she points out pretty poignantly why many women in this country, regardless of where they stand, have good reason to feel pretty uncomfortable about how abortion policy, and frankly alot of policy, is made in this country.  I'll also take this moment to note (because I never pass up an opportunity) how fabulous Bill Clinton is.  Regardless of how either president resolved the issue, the important thing here is that BC actually took the time to, I don't know, TALK TO THE PEOPLE AFFECTED by the issue.  As opposed to consulting, I don't know, Rick Santorum and Orrin Hatch.  Bill was on Larry King tonight and he had some great insights on this and other topics, as usual.  Check that out if you can, I'm sure they'll rerun it about twenty times this week.
