Judy Blume is one of my favorite authors of all time. When I bought this book, Dave was with me, and I was like, oh this is an adult book by Judy Blume. And he said, who's Judy Blume? Apparently he had never read any of her young adult books, which I find ridiculous. He has missed out on the Fudge books! And so many others.
Anyway, Judy wrote this book in 1978 and it is about a repressed New Jersey housewife. It is mostly all about sex, and it is pretty funny, but also sad in parts. I didn't like it as much as I liked her other adult book, Summer Sisters, but it was still pretty good.
