I've been in the city all day.
Sitting around.
Then standing around pretending to be drinking beer.
And watching burlesque stripteases.
We got to be extras in John Cameron Mitchell's new flick, which kicks more ass than my usual slave labor any day.
You know him, he did Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
We got 20 bucks for travel expenses apiece, and they gave us lunch.
But I got to hang out with drag queens.
And got kissed by a midget.
And met John himself, who is an incredibly nice man.
We were trashed by 2:00 today...
Brought a couple bottles of wine and found a box of it on the set.
Let me tell you, there is no better way to deal with all the sitting around you do when being an extra.
Or a "scenic completion performace artist," as I like to call it.
Makes me feel like I've actually done something important... haha.
But the whole 3 days was an awesome experience, even through being exhausted at the end of each day.
And the movie's gonna kick hardcore ass.
