Ugh. This is not really a journal worthy thing to post, but it's late, and I can't complain to anybody cause they're all asleep.
WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO?
I'm sure everybody that heads off into new territory... a career (me, in this case, I guess), a city, a new relationship, a new way of life, whatever... has some ups and downs a long the way, and it's not easy. BUT.
My poor amateur brain is frazzled.
And.
OMG. WHY CAN'T THERE BE JUST ONE FREAKING INTERNET BROWSER. WHY?!?!?! I just want things to be pretty! Why can the Interwebz Gods not GET THAT?
Browser usage statistics as of October, 2009:
IE8: 12.8%
IE7: 14.1%
IE6: 10.6% <------ [insert big dramatic sigh]
Firefox 47.5%
Chrome: 8.0%
Safari: 3.8%
Opera: 2.3%
*cries forever and ever and ever*
In conclusion, thank you life. Lesson learned. Investigate your client base. Especially if they are old people. Which in this case, they probably are. Which means they probably DO have IE6. Like my parents. MEH.
Disclaimer: If you actually read all that, in which case I would be surprised, please don't be offended if you have an ancient browser. Obviously, I am frustrated. But I am going to take this opportunity to pimp Firefox :D GO FORTH AND DOWNLOAD! YESSSS. Consider this my official "make the internet a pretty place" plea. :P
