(no subject)
so, this afternoon i had basically every type of car issue imaginable short of getting in a wreck and dying.
first, my car wouldn't start and either needed jumped/towed. (i didn't leave the lights on and it was fine last night) conviently, i was about to drive it to the dealer to have it checked-up and get an oil change.
my best friend triple a came to the rescue and sent a tow truck out to jump the car, which thankfully did the trick.
then i spent about two hours in the waiting room, and they gave my car a new battery and new front tires along with the original scheduled oil change.
now i was set, so i went off on my way. but apparently i went too fast because about ten minutes after i had the car back in working condition, i got pulled over for speeding.
thirty-eight in a twenty-five = a hundred thirty-three dollars. i'm so pissed at myself. and poor.
on one hand, i should have been pulled over like a million times before and wasn't, but this was obviously my lucky day. but it was pretty dumb, i was coming out of a forty-five mph zone and asdf.
somehow my license plate also got bent over, and cop mentioned it to me and that i should fix it. i assumed he meant the small bend in the corner, but it turns out at some point like half the plate folded over, and i just sounded like a dumbass.
after all that, i went with my parents to triple a so they could sign the title to this wonderful vehicle over to me.
otherwise, being home has been great. i'm going back to pittsburgh saturday morning for like a week, and then i'll come back home again for a few days before classes start.
