And to cheer myself up.

Because I have been ridiculously weepy this week. Honestly. To the previous entry you can add in watched the news. Anniversary of the Dambusters raid. Last man from the raid alive watching the last bomber in Britain flying over their old training ground. Cried more buckets ( Read more... )

*hands you kleenex*

I'm sorry you're feeling so weepy!

Don't know what to say about the other, except whatever it is, my money's on naivete, because you are not stupid. Harumph. Probably not quite naive either, but those are the choices you're offering. ;-)

Lovely vid though! You're right: both voices are delicious. And the cuts and splices were very amusing.

*Kleenex gratefully received*

Thank you. Been a funny old week so far. Just found myself in the pub spilling my deepest darkest secrets to a couple of friends too. I think this definitely has to be hormonal!

I would like to think it's not either, but my revelations have got to be one or the other! I'm hoping it's not stupidity!

George Sanders and Jeremy Irons can always cheer me up, even if they are being mean to small, helpless characters. Maybe even more so, if they are being mean to small, helpless characters!

I must admit to being a James Earl Jones fan too, though Vadar does more for me than Mufasa. Although, the part where the hyenas are all saying his name to make a shiver has a certain ring of truth to it!

I just went to look up Jeremy Irons, because I thought I knew who he was, but I wasn't sure and had a feeling I might just be wrong. And no, I actually have no idea who Jeremy Irons is. For that matter, the only thing he has in common with Jason Isaacs is the initials. D'oh!

Oooh, James Earl Jones! Now there's a voice. Rivals Alan Rickman, in my book.

I hope your pub-spilling did the trick! {{hugs}}

Edited to change the icon to make it clear I was talking about my mistake and not agreeing with the "stupid" business. Because you, my dear, are not stupid.

Ah, Jeremy Irons... One of my very first crushes. After Die Hard, he was my only man! Until, of course, the Sheriff of Nottingham made his appearance! Then Christmas was canceled and I really didn't care as long as he kept talking!

James Earl Jones... I'm sorry, was I supposed to be doing something other than drooling incoherently?

Jason Isaacs is pretty too, but not quite the depth of voice. Gotta have that rumble to shake the ground I walk on!

You can use whichever icon you like my dear, I would never take offense at you! Especially when I'm having a day of dubious brain power anyway! Dogbert is pretty much out for the duration today...

Yeah, that's why I figured I didn't have it quite right. ;-)

Also, I'm too quick on the post key today.

Yes, definitely must have the rolling baritone. (How'd I end up married to a tone-deaf tenor, anyway?)

Dunno, but I managed that one too... Tis a mystery!

I think I'm off to raid the kids DVD shelf. Looks like I need a dose of Jungle book, followed by a Lion King chaser!
