Today has been a pretty good day so far. I can't believe it's almost 6 already and Jon will be home at 7:30...usually I'm watching the clock by about 5 to see how long before he's home. Today I had one of the girls helped me for longer than usual, and although I don't leave her alone with the twins cuz she's only 12, the extra hands make a world of difference! My therapy session was good today too. She said she thinks I am getting more exhausted than depressed in the evenings and I need to take better care of myself. I just wish I could do that without guilt. I feel like I should be #1 mom 24/7 and that's really hard to live up to.
Also the doctor gave me some cortizone shots in my thighs and shoulders yesterday and it really seems to be taking some of the edge off of the fibromyalgia. This humidity we're having here sucks though. Kids are fussing...gotta go!
