I'll try to explain better: Dakini syndicated my loveinthesuburbs blog so that it would show up on LJ if you take the feed (my blogspeak may not be perfect) and prefer to have all your "news" appear in your LJ friends page. (It's called loveinsuburbs on my friends page.) Trouble is, if you comment to the feed, I get no email notification. If you click over to the actual blog and leave a comment, my blog emails me. Make sense now?

Sarabellae is my LJ account name. Any comment you make to me comes to me. But I'm not writing much original content here now.

Aha, gotcha.
I have your loveinthesuburbs going to my google reader, so if I click through there it takes me to the site, where I can make comments. I see.

Not only does she get no email notification, but the syndicated blogs on LJ also removed the comments after some time (it maybe weeks or even a month or two), so nothing anyone leaves there is persistent.
