About my new job. Its WORK! I mean the Trainer said its hard work.im what it called a palletizer,I will stack merchandise on pallets to go to the ACME stores.Just alot of lifting for 8+ hours.though I seen the girls doing this and if they can do i can do it ;) .My shift is 5:30pm to 1:30am ot untill we get all orders out.I start at 12.30 with .30/hour differential pay for night shift work (anything after 12 noon) so its 12.60 an hour for me !!! with what they call an accelerated wage program (since I cam from working in a cooler at Wies) It will be 16.40 an hour after 8 months(I thought they said 90 days but my hand book says 8) and then my wage after 24 months and i meet prodution is 17.35 !!! So If i can stick it out which I am going to try! Now the other great things about working here is,Benefits,ALL Company paid Medical insurance plans Vision care Prescription drug coverage Dental Disability benefits Life insurance benefits 401(k) plan .And the last and cool part UNION!! I will be part of the union! Teamsters after my 30 days! Now everyone keep your fingers crossed that I can do this job and that it all works out!!
