a much needed update
well i havent updated this thing in awhile. for good reason though. havent been around. been super duper busy and grad school is kicking my arse, which is damn well should be. So tonka arrived here with me on sunday. my trip to chicago was very nice. he stayed over on wednesday, and then thurs, friday, sat. i just spend time with the gramps at teh hospital and doing a bunch of homework the rest of the time. didnt see any of my buddies so sorry guys, no personal attacks on any of you but ya'll know who the priority was! thursday bisa and i did go see sevendust which was good all because of the skindred. so fricking amazing i must add. we werent in the concert mood. i had a lot on my mind. so sat. night i wanted to see the jackie. and considering both our schedules sucked i canoodled a round of me and bisa and tonka to take the trip out to chicago to see jaxs at work in her hooter uniform. tee hee, giggle giggle. cute i must say! hahahaha. we went home to sleep after that because had to get up at the crack ass of dawn to head back here. ended up picking jeremy up from the bar because that hoe was there and of course ruined his mood. bitch. and then we went to bed. at like hmmm..2ish i think. and woke up at 4ish. headed down south and made it here around 6ish then went to sean and peggys for a group meeting. jeesh. that was ridiculous. ended up getting out of there at like 2am and stayed up till around 5am at the house. just chillaxin on the porch. fun times. next day...
monday, well had the huge presentation. so basically woke up and headed over to finish that. gosh, what a nice relief to get that done. headed home and ummm... wait, i didnt head home, i picked up the tonka and we went back to sean and peggys to work on the our wednesday project till around 12:30.... so tuesday we were suppose to once again work on the project. poor tonka for having to deal with all this school work but my god was he amazingly supportive. thank you! so get a phone call and find out that sean was in a car accident with the pegsters car. which was super duper sucky!!! omg it was bad, car not looking so hot at the moment to be honest. so basically spent the afternoon driving peggy to see it and then waiting for the cops for a ridiculous amt of time. it was like three hours and finally we were like how about we just drive there which seriously was in viewing distance. peggy wrote a complaint letter to the newspaper about the ridiculous response time. i just couldnt beleive it. so tonka and i went to joes crab shack while they were dealing with the technicalities and completely out of our hands..... sat on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous day outside and just had a fantastic lunch together taking in the atmosphere. then drove back to pick them up and work on our project until like 1am.
went to work the next morning. training to be an admin senior. and didnt get out of there until like hours after i was orginally suppose too. not a good way to get me to want this position. pretty pissed off if i do say so myself. so get out of work, change and head straight over to my peeps place to finish the last touches of the paper... FELL ASLEEP. yep, fell right to sleep. i was so fricking tired it was crazy! ummm... did the presentation at like 6ish... picked the tonka up at 9ish and headed back to the city for some sushi with addy, sean and pegster. went back to addys apartment which is a shot gun style old school looking establishment. absolutely gorgeous!! huge fan i must say. we dropped of peggy and sean at a party and went home after that. Didnt get to bed until 5:30 but just sat on the balcony in discussion. good times! so that is the update in a nutshell. got a test and paper to write but for the most part, our celebration was much needed and enjoyed last night.
todays plans are up in the air at the moment but finally we will be able to relax and just do the tourist stuff. looking foward to my vacation which is basically until monday (TEST) so i will try to update on the jazz fest front. cuz i'm sure that will be good times. peace out homies!!!!
