This song was inspired by a painting that Dali did. The story behind the painting is about a guy who finds a stone relief of a woman and falls in love with the relief. Later in life he meets her, and they fall in love, but she taken from him in war. When she is lost is goes insane because he loses every part of him that she held as her ( in the painting he is missing his face, crotch and heart). However, she never really left him because her love was always with him and she find her way back. However, when she gets back to him he is too far gone to notice her. - To me it's a true depiction of love and how in some way we are all looking for our rock to lean on that holds the missing pieces without whom we would loose ourselves. It just inspires the notion of how intense love in its truest form is meant to me.
