So excited for the game! Go Spain!
And I'm back from Roskilde and all, last tuesday actually and it was as awesome as life gets. Period.
I'm in my hometown right now, and yesterday I went to a reunion with the people I went to elementary school with. It was so much fun! Only nine out of 22 showed up, most of us those who have moved out of this town. Those that still live here didn't. It was a little awkward at first, since few of us know each other any longer, but it quickly eased up. There was so much cognac and everyone got drunk.
Then. I met the most wonderful girl ever. We went to someone's house for a pre-party and there she was. Just sitting on the couch and all I could say was "Oh hi! Why haven't I seen you before?". Turns out that she's three years yonger than me and that's probably why I didn't know of her. She's insanely beautiful. We instantly became friends and walked into town with our arms around each other and just lost everyone else and she was all "oh my god, why didn't we meet earlier?" and there was so much body contact and someone from the local newspaper came and took a picture of us and it's on the internet and we look like we've known each other for 20 years, not 20 minutes. Sigh. She's so gorgeous. She belongs in the very interesting phenomenon in my hometown: all the girls born in 1991 claim to be bisexual. Seriously, I know of at least ten. Compared to my year, 1988, I know of one queer person, and that's me. Anyway, she was like "sure, I'll sleep with a girl, but I can't imagine falling in love with one", not because I asked, but conversations late saturday nights always seem to drift into these things. So, yeah, I'm totally in love.
Now for football.
