Summer plans are looking awesome!

Just bought tickets to a festival in Nürberg, Germany with the most ridiculously cool line-up ever. It's insane how some festival I've never heard of has bands that are 100 times more popular than the ones Roskilde have managed to find. There are som many of these bands that I used to absolutely love and blast in my room while reading Metal Hammer and Kerrang when I was 17. Seeing Slayer for the third time! And it's all rock and metal, almost purely, except... Jay Z. What? Still, cool. We're flying down to Munich on the 4th, so we're missing Raghe Against the Machine, but that's OK. The festival provides zero information in English, so this is going to be interesting. My German is... bad. I can read a lot of it, but not speak, write or understand. And there are actually a lot of germans that speak English, especially the young. OMG I can't wait. The Used! My 17 year old heart is hammering with joy.

AND! The day after I get back from Rock im Park, I'm going to Riga, Latvia. For four days. Cheap flights and cheap hostels. I really like eastern Europe. And their beer prices... And a lot of nice buildings.

And then Roskilde including Copenhagen and big ships, so that's almost two weeks. Wonderful.

I'm currently writing my take-home exam in gender and criminology. Got another one about masculinities which is good because I've learned a lot about it, but maybe a bit repetitive since I just wrote about it. Still! Free after Monday. Still no job, but I have an interview! Yay.
