Where to begin?

-I've finally moved out. The overwhelmingly time-consuming cleaning was considered perfect by the landlord, but the tiny crack in one of the inner planks of the sofa apparently makes it completely unusable, and he demanded we buy a new one. A new sofa for a 20 YEAR OLD sofa which is honestly the ugliest piece of furniture I have ever seen? It's completely insane, I don't know what to do. They're withholding our NOK 20 000/$3000 deposit. It's so fucked.

-But I sort of managed to forget it all for a while and had an amazing weekend, living with my friends, alternating between their beds and their kitchen floor. Living in the middle of the city (even a tiny one like Oslo) is awesome, I have eaten all my food recently on Subway.

-The party last Friday went from normal but nice to completely insane when one of the neighbors asked me to come to his party instead. I answered something vague, not planning to go, but I mentioned it to my friend who lives there. He was all, "well, why not?" and we sort of pushed our entire party up.. to a HUGE ILLEGAL CLUB IN THE ATTIC! There was a bar and sofas and a disco ball and a fucking SKATE RAMP. On the attic. My friend has lived there for more than a year and didn't know this place existed. Sick. Anyway, this party was crowded with hipsters and Swedes and Italians and people I knew and wow, it was so cool. I got hit on several times even though I looked like a skater boy who just got out of bed.

-Saturday's party was even better, mostly because so many people I like were there. Really, really wonderful, even though I had to talk a friend away from some childish suicide plans. But jeez, Spotify destroys a party, everyone's got at least five songs they have to hear, and they have to hear them exactly 30 seconds into the first song someone else have to hear. The night ended well in  a way, a friend left me very happy and confused and feeling guilty and it's all bleh, but I don't know. <3.

-I've sort of gotten a small job. A woman that earlier said I'd be perfect for the job, but "those things in your face might be a problem". I didn't hear from them for a month when they suddenly called and were in a crisis and really needed me. I was so tempted to say no, but I'm desperate for a job, so I took it. It's really nice, I'm looking after a very, very handicapped three-year-old girl. She's almost impossible to get any form of contact with, the only senses she's using are hearing and touch. The'll wrap her tiny fingers around mine, but that's it. Even though you can never see any progress with her, it does really feel meaningful. She stops breathing several times a day and mostly sleeps, but still. She's such a wonderful little girl. I hope I get to work there more. And - would you believe it - the blind, multi-handicapped child didn't mind my piercings! Who would have thought?

-I'll try my best to catch a little up with my flist before I go to Denmark by SHIP in FOUR DAYS! But suddenly I'll have to work and pack and stuff, but I'll try.
