A week at the cabin was wonderful and I enjoyed every second of it, but of course it all went too fast and I didn't write a single word on my essay, which is supposed to be 6000 words and is due on the 24th. Nor did I read anything for my qualitative method-exam on the 22nd. I looked through some old exams, and I couldn't answer a single one of the questions. Well well, I'll stay up all night a few days before or something.
I drove home a day before the rest of my family to get some time to work on my essay. The road was so muddy and bad it felt like driving WRC Rally on Playstation, except more real. Anyway, have I worked on my essay? Nope. Nada. I've spent a day and a half playing Guitar Hero 3 (it has Slayer<3 ), reading 75 pages of fmylife (which is awesome, go read) and buying stuff I don't need on ebay. I bought a Dora the Explorer wristwatch. I have never watched Dora the Explorer, I barely know what it is. I also bought oversized Lolita-heart-shaped sunglasses and a The Decemberists-shirt. Sigh. I wish my essay would write itself.
I had to take out my last pair of contact lenses today and I haven't got new ones yet, so this will be the first time ever I actually have to use glasses. No contacts as backup. My glasses are awesome and all, I'm just staring to think that glasses in addition to eyes, nose, mouth, four piercings and a fringe will be a little too much for a small face like mine. I don't know. I've got to wear them anyway, so.
