i am glad for christmas to be over. i love my family, though they are a bit overwhelming at times.
also, i feel that i have gained about fifteen pounds in three days. i am glad that no one eats this way all year long. i simply cannot handle the everflowing dishes and trays.
i cannot wait for new years. colleen and i bought $70 worth of party supplies today. it was hard to resist. also i realized what happened to the missing champagne from my trunk. sorry, primo. we really did have good intentions!
at my father's work, i purchased an antique dressing table mirror and a leather poncho with fringe and embroidered flowers. we lunched at the brewery in oldtown salinas and ate leftovers between thriftstores. we sat and drank coffee, we bought socks and underwear at target. we listened to yo! mtv raps on my stereo. i wish all my days could be as easy and carefree as this one.
