But it's tough finding KOEI fans without having to flock to the forums (not a huge fan of forums - 3-)! :o Which is your favorite DW? I think I'm sticking with 5.. but with Warriors orochi it's been claiming my favorite spots XD
I've never been one for forums either. That would require me to be a bit more social then I normally am. -_-
As for my favorite DW... as much as I get annoyed at it I would say there's a special place for 4. Mainly because that's the first one I played. My roommate and I were watching her brothers play the game and we thought it looked dumb at first. We didn't see the point of nothing but mindless hack and slash. But then we actually played it and well, now I own more Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games then I probably should.
Overall I think Warriors Orochi has claimed the spot mainly for the character interations and the different groups to take out. Normally my favorite thing to do is take out my top three and go to Osaka Castle just to amuse myself.
Yeaah. I think there's far less drama on Livejournal than other sites (forums and whatnot). It seems just a whole lot more.. eehh, grown-up-ish? I'm not sure, but LJ is the only kind of blog-journal I've actually stuck with and enjoy.
Ohh yess, I started at 3 when the graphics weren't 'all that great' and when Da Qiao was just insanely adorable, I don't think I played any other character, just her XD I actually got started in kinda the same way you did, I was watching my brother and his friend play it, then when I asked if I could try it I was hooked.
Though, I was only introduced to Samurai Warriors through Warriors Orochi... I'm thinking I should expand to it.. not sure though.
Hehe, yeah; my favorite battle is a tie between Jie Ting (hate the talking though e_e), He Fei and Koshi. When I was at Koshi on Wei story though, I was just about to go for Lu Bu, but Cao Cao committed suicide. Silly stupid AI sometimes XD
Most of the drama here on livejournal kind of goes over my head anyway. So I'm okay with that. All the other journal like things the set up just confuses me anyway, I've had the livejournal for four almost five years, so I fully support it and try to get more friends corrupted on it but sadly they go for facebook and myspace. D

Omg, it's funny that you brought up Facebook, because I got banned from there for no reason (or, rather, my account was turned off by the admin for something LOL!!) and myspace, uhg. That place is just... no. LJ is best by far *nod*
I love Zhang He's costumes in.. umm... 4 I think? They're so great X3
Ahh, that what I suspected.. it also looks like there are different fighting angles and stuff. I'll look around and see if I can get SW2.. maybe on amazon ;D
Bleh, Yue Ying just annoys me. And yes! That would be the best thing ever to be able to control the units... especially save them from killing themselves! xD

The butterfly wings, yes! Oh that's my favorite costume of his! XD When I first saw him I was like, "What in the....hell? *laughs*" After that, I like, HAD to play him so I could run around in that costume. Who gets killed by a guy wearing butterfly wings!?
Okay, now that's really neat. I'll have to get 2 and Legends to see Yoshimoto play dead. That just sounds priceless XD
Yeah I had trouble with it too, and getting Keiji too; running back and forth isn't fun at all! Fdsa, I have DW5 Empires, and I never play it... I'm a tactical retard when it comes to that one >:B
Oh, I never said I didn't believe you. It's still weird. Now I've heard it doesn't go by school anymore so it doesn't matter now. They didn't have my school when I first looked at it and I never really went back

Yeaaah, I like bringing it up.. makes me giggle since it's like, years old. Ooo, I haven't heard about that.. but.. eh, then there's all the applications. I found it annoying when someone would like, completely over-due the tagging thing with one app. It's like, "whoa, stop now?". Then someone else does it. -o-
I haven't played 6 either.. though I'm not all that interested in buying it. They took some great characters out D: Hehe, I'm sure it scars some egos being beaten by a guy in butterfly wings!

Urk, I started doing the same thing! Right in the middle of saving someone from being killed, having to run all the way back across the map just to hit the drums! Then someone dying and me not noticing until the end... it's like, uhg! But when you finally get win and get him, it's the greatest. ;D
Ahhh, well you'll have to tell me how it looks and turns out for you! The whole fact that Lu Bu kinda turned emo sealed the deal for me; he wasn't one of my usual characters, but I enjoyed playing him every now-and-then.. Jiang Wei and Da Qiao, yeah, two of my favorites. But it was also like, they kept Xiao, but why take out Da? I just don't get it. -lesigh- And if I remember right, they took Ma Chao's spear away! T3T The main reason he's one of my top characters, is well; you don't even have to get off your horse to wipe everyone out! >8D
Well, I'm not too worried about Lu Bu. I'm more looking forward to the idea that some of the characters might actually do something more. And I want to play the Orochi story. I never understood that, how are they supposed to be the two Qiaos when one is missing? I don't even think Xiao does anything in the game anway. They took Ma Chao's spear away in the special. But him on the horse, that was always fun. Espeically when you put him on Shadow Runner aka for me "George" and then just sit there and play fun with his charge attack~
