Warm rough hands slowly slid against pale porclain cheeks bringing her head closer to his and pressing the gentleist of kisses against those cupid's bow lips. As he pulled away, a smile turned the corners of his mouth as he pulled the frail body into a tight hug his head now resting next to hers.
A slight shift in her weight, and he felt her hot breath against his ear and the smile broadened. "Forget it." It was whispered, but he heard those words. His body became stiff, and he blinked as if he couldn't comprehend what was happening. And, in ways, he couldn't as he continued to hold onto the only precious thing in his pathetic world. "Forget it." It was stronger this time, and now she pulled away from him a slight fire in her eyes. She looked like a cat that'd just been stepped on.
"Forget it. You and everything. Goodbye." Spinning on heel she seemed to glide along the floor as his knees began to wobble and his gaze became unfocused. The ground was hard, when he hit it.
