*happy sigh* Wow, this story had everything--action, romance, sex... even a visit with some old friends I haven't seen in quite awhile. (I can't remember the last time I've seen Riptide. They don't seem to show it on cable like they do other shows of the 80s, which is too bad. I always liked it.) Ooh, I really loved the way Chris was feeling a bit jealous about Murray--big, bad Larabee worried about Vin paying attention to someone else. *snicker* And JD's hero worship of "The Boz" was a nice touch. Very, very good read. Thanks for sharing. :-)

Riptide season 1 is available on DVD and you should be able to find it at Best Buys if there's one near you.

This whole story is just fabulous - beginning to end. It's exciting and flows well, and the sex scene at the end is....OMG!! Especially the hot tub line from Chris. I nearly passed out.

Although I'd never run across Riptide before, I really enjoyed this. Engaging plot, great characterization.

Yay!! I'm so glad you liked it! The number of Riptide slash fans can be counted on one's fingers, possibly even the fingers of one hand, so I tried to make those characters work as though they were original characters, so the folks unfamiliar with them would still be able to enjoy the story. I'm *glad* that it worked!!

Reading the minor villian's name, Victor Carasco, I was like, hey, wasn't that the guy from Love and Guns? Maya's father? But when I looked it up, he's Hector Carasco. You can see why I was confused, yes? I thought you were pulling a little minor fandoms collide thingy. *g ( ... )

Carasco was a reference to the guy in TS, but I had to change his first name because by 1999/2000 (when this story was set) Hector Carasco was in jail. :D Victor Carasco's like a cousin or something, still in the family business. :D

I'm so glad you liked the story and thought the fandoms worked well together.

Oh, wow cool!! There's a ton of good Mag7 fic out there and the ATF AU is, IMO, the coolest and most awesome thing in the history of fandom. For whatever reason this is the only ATF fic I've written, though. ::scratches head::

Anyway I'm so glad you liked it and it got you reading Mag7!!
