Hey hey, it's not only old-schoolers who go F/V. i lean that way in a gen view.

Oh, I'm sorry! I wasn't meaning it that way. I was more thinking in terms of--well the first folks who watched the show saw the show's slashy potential apparently right out of the gate. And it's because of them that the show's still on the map of "slash fandoms". If they hadn't seen the potential it would have gone the way of any of a hundred other shows that ran for a while and disappeared without anyone trying to slash them. Does that make more sense? The fore-mothers *make* the fandom, we keep it alive. ;)

ersonally I'm not so sure he does. He's so damn passionate about trying to help when he's needed. I love him for it. I think Ray does to, he's just had a whole life of 'it never makes any difference' to counter Fraser with.

But even in a town like Inuvik, Fraser would have learned from his Grandparents that he couldn't help everyone, I'd wager. I think he'll help when he can, he'll help with a problem's right in front of him. But I don't see him walking all over Chicago like an angel of mercy.

You like Ray's bling ring? I cringe at Ray's early fashion sense and hair but it is amusing.

I find the bling ring...an interesting tidbit about the character. Along with the colorful silk shirts, the pale teal coat with the buff pants (a surprisingly good color on him and a rather nicer combo than I'd have thought), and so on. I can't say as I exactly *like* it....but I love that hint about Ray.

Have you seen One Good Man from season 2? Because my train of thought relates to that and I don't want to spoiler you. :D

Nope, I've seen about eight episodes of Season 1 (including Victoria's Secret) and about five episodes of Season 3 and that's it!

I'm not usually too worried about spoilers, but in this case when I get to the new episodes, I really want them to be new, so thanks for your consideration.

I also think because he's not technically supposed to be involved in most of the cases he takes, he is walking Chicago and seeing it as his duty to help. And when he fails, or comes close too, he seems to take it so personally.

Hmmm...very interesting point. Though a lot of them just seem to fall in his lap, as far as I can tell. But, as I said above, my knowledge is limited.
