My husband wants to know why I've spent the last couple of nights sleeping with an enormous grin on my face. What shall I tell him? After all, it's *all* *your* *fault*!!!!

Yep - sweet. Love Nick, still - even here he's all brusque and direct and - perfectly Nick. Tender in his touches, 'manly' in his words.

I find it interesting that you have so much emotion between Cody and Murray - they're very aware of each other emotionally and with touch. In a way, Nick is kinda left out - but I'm not sure thathe's aware of it, if that makes any sense . . . .

Okay - on to - more! This is wonderful - and distracting me horribly from work!!!

Huh!! That's an interesting observation and *not* something I'd ever thought of. Part of it is that Nick came in on Cody and Murray already together (in this story) so he's not quite as tangled up in their *current* lovemaking.

He's also just a little bit less, I think, empathic. Not a good word. I just don't think he's as emotionally *aware* as the others, in general, not just about this relationship that they're in.

Interesting to think about though....

Okay - I've now had the extremely great pleasure of reading "Pull of the Tides" and I'm commenting here because I think that . . . I can still see Nick feeling on the outside a little. Not in a bad way, not at all. But to revisit an earlier comment you made, Cody is so aware of his own sexuality and so accepting of it that it's easier for him to be the one that Murray, already sensitive by nature, would communicate better with him. The two of them would have (and do have) an awareness of subtleties that Nick, god love him, isn't. But with Cody and Murray together more intimately, I suspect that at some point, Nick would become aware of it. At first, he might be jealous, but I see him as being alittle more hurt by it, feeling left out.

it's funny because you did such a gorgeous job in "Pull of the Tide" with cody and boz being the jealous ones, hearing but not knowing exactly what was going on with Nick, and each of them worrying about the effect it was having on the other - and each of them questioning Nick! Poor Nicky!

Oh, I'm so glad you liked "Pull"! It seems a little long and windy to me, personally. Lord knows, I never intended for it to be a case story. But the boys needed something to *do* while they were sorting things out and giving them a case to solve kept them busy instead of just having them sit around and wallow in their heads like 14-year old girls.

Huh, and I've read this one about 30 times. I really do suck. Your belated feedback, my dear:

What a beautiful, beautiful story. I love the little 'moments' in between the OMFG so hotness.

Love that it's still so new for them but the love's so strong. You strike that perfectly, IMHO, and it kinda doubles the hotness.

*HUGS*
