What have I been up to...

May 02, 2005 19:31

I figured that I haven't really written about me in awhile, so I decided to. Saturday, slept in... Josh cooked breakfast and we just laid around doing nothing until like 4. We picked up Alicia and then went to the mall to get Tigers tickets for the next day in Chicago. After that we went shopping at Fairlane for a bit and then went to see the Interpreter... which was a pretty good movie, but not as good as I was hoping it would be. Sunday, woke up at 5 a.m. was on the road by six and drive to Chicago. When we got there we shopped for a bit and took a look at this cool little museum with pictures of some the Chicago's sights. It was pretty interesting. Hung out in a local pub and then went back to the car. Do you know that those assholes charge $26.00 for parking for 2 hours? That was ridiculous. We then went to U.S. Cellular field to watch the Tigers play the White Sox. Oh my gosh did we get slaughtered. Then we drove all the way home... well Josh did, I just tried to stay awake so he'd have someone to talk to. I had fun. I love just being spontaneous. and I love Josh!

Alicia wrote something in her journal that really meant something to me... so I'm going to add it here:

after awhile down the road,
with a million memories,
a hundred fights,
a lot of tears,
and one simple concept on our minds;
to be together,
we sometimes lose sight of where it all began.
somewhere, beneath time, we were souly 2 people who were so in love we didnt care if the world was falling around us....
we were blank slates, and couldnt wait to fill them up.
we were young, and so hopeful of the future.
Nothing could stand in our way.

(and sara i have to add this in for u: of all people, ur still here, the one i can still remmeber playing barbies with in the basement a million years ago, whoever thought we'd be right here today...and just think,with boyfriends, we count the months we've been together, but for us, we never had to count. we know its forever.i love you [however, its 12 days shy of 17 years)

I love that kid =o)
