updates
i thought i'd take a moment to write something other than my thesis.
and now that i AM writing something substantially different (a blog, hah), all i can think about is how i should be doing more research.
the 50 page chunk of my second semester of my senior year, written very ambitiously and with painstaking effort, is due in less than four weeks.
i feel as if i need another year. a month is just not a sufficient amount of time...
*pathetic whimper*
my spring break consisted of going to d.c. for about 3 days. what did i do there? i drank. and then i slept. and then drank some more. i think i ate something at some point as well... the rest of my "break" was spent in Thesis World. i live there. come visit.
it's official. I'M GOING BACK TO FUCKING NORTH CAROLINA. back to chapel hill that is, which isn't really authentic north carolina, but it's my favorite place in the world by far. i'm living with my insane friend thomas. we're the most frightening force of energy when we're together. so i'm excited. realllllllllllllLLLLLY EXCITED.
i don't have a job yet. i'm working on that. the power of professor moffat is helping me, along with her connections to "crazy unleashed feminists" in the area (her words). that just means i have to send out a lot of emails.
treehouse reunion is tomorrow (saturday). it's fabulous. i get to see all of my old housemates, plus a bunch of treekids i haven't seen in a while. there also seems to be no limit to the amount of alumni who are coming in the next few days. i'm looking forward to a busy weekend. starting riiiight after i get off work at 6.
