I've worn waterproof mascara and colorstay lipstick to the rink, I won't lie. :) Though sad to say, I haven't worn the goalie pads since I got pregnant. I've just been skating out as a defender. The team that plays Tues/Sat already has a goalie who's way better than me anyway, and with two babies and a goalie husband, it's easier for me to miss practices or games as a skater than as a goalie.... substitute goalies are SO much harder to find then just telling a teammate, "hey, you're playing defense today".

Better than the reality. I think of me as having the physique of Danny DeVito in Batman Returns, but with hair somewhere between a drunk french braid and the bus driver from South Park, cokebottle glasses from the 80's, and neglected leg hair like a bristle brush.

The reality is probably somewhere in between, which is an acceptable way to be.

But all of that sounds really cute, although I'm more of a Robin Williams gal myself. Not that I can imagine him in a red cocktail dress. (No, wait, I can. And I die of awww.)
