eww and music and ultima
I had to deal with a domestic dispute (drunken fight with some hairy chested flabby guy and his unattractive drunken girlfriend) out in the hall at the hotel tonight. How did I know he was hairy chested? He was only half dressed. His hairy man-boobs are seared on the insides of my eyelids right now. *eeesshhh*
We don't usually get things like that, being a business/sports team hotel, but occasionally the riffraff like to stay here and liven things up for me! I offered each one of them the chance to bring the police into it, since accusations of abuse and theft were flying, but no. They have declined. Pity, since perhaps they'd both go to jail and leave me be.
For music, I have been wanting to hear music lately that I can't put a name to, which is killing me. I want more and more to listen to soft, instrumental music, possibly with singing, although usually without. I can't figure out the exact genre in order to look for it efficiently. It's the kind of music you usually hear in video games or the background of movies & sci-fi or middle-ages shows. Sort of druidic? Celtic, maybe?
I did find one disk, by Claddagh, which had a few songs from Robin, the Hooded Man on it, which is sort of what I'm looking for.
Lastly, Ultima is releasing yet ANOTHER expansion for this summer. Man, I loved that game. I should learn from my "trying to go home" experience with SWG, but... I'm seriously thinking about checking it out. It did have really good music...
