Prepping for Quad War

2 Points for this post:

Pain - the swelling is down and the pain is getting easier to manage. Today I lifted and moved. Course now I'm resting cause I hurt but that's to be expected. My foot was really swollen last night. Today it has subsided and is much easier to walk on. I should have taken pictures of the bruising though. I'm glad I heal quickly. :)

Quad Camping location - Not sure where we'll be camping. It was easy back home because no one ever demanded or expected us to camp with them. We usually ended up in the WP or Einar/Troub encampments but it was always completely our choice. Now we're kinda at a loss. Yesterday someone asked where I expected to camp and I replied flippantly (As is my style) "I'll camp where ever the hell I choose. And I'll choose when I get there." They proceeded to inform me that it would be fine with them as I would not be welcome in one of the local large household's encampment. I don't really care where we camp but I'm not going to be pressured into being in anyone's encampment. Course, there are others who've expressed this pressure and not wanting to be subject to it. So we're camping together. It'll be fun. We might still camp with Kirk and Sus but they'll have mundane family (Their first event) and others camping with them. We didn't know if we would be too much (there'll be us and my nephews) so we opted to camp elsewhere. That, again, was a choice made by my hubby and I. We're becoming very particular about situations and people we spend time with. If it seems like it'll be tough/awkward/annoying in anyway we prefer to make our own arrangements. Meh.

Other than that nothing much is new. Busy getting things done. Such is life.
