Other personas
I've been busy this last while working on stuff for my "other" persona, the Later period Venetian courtesan. I have 3 pavilions on the go (almost done, just need to replace the needle on the serger), 3 gowns started (need skirts attached) and one outfit is almost done that copies (a Micheli painting of a woman playing the lute with incredibly large sleeves c 1570, the image of which is no longer on Bella's website).
The tough part is a name. I had Porzia della Scala. But it's pronounced P-oar-see-ah. And I don't think I like that as much anymore. :(
I have a few names to choose from but I like a few of them as combinations:

Filippa
Gianetta
Ginevra
Giovanna
Giulianna
Lorenza
Marsilia
Martinella
Masina
Pia
I was going to write more but my old singer is working again now that I have a new belt and I am eager to get back to sewing.
