(no subject)
I have been searching online and locally for some fabric. I've decided that I want to do a Venetian Courtesan Gown. SO I go to Walmart (on a whim) and there in the bin is the fabric I've been looking for (a damask print in burgandy and gold) And it's 120 wide instead of 60 wide!!! And even better, it's only 7.88/meter. :D
So I buy it and I turn around in the fabric section and find,... more fabric. This time it's a white square pattern with blue dots. It practically SCREAMED to be beaded. And it's only 5.88/meter.
Now, I go home and it turns out that I won some fabric on Ebay. the stuff is similar to my Walmart find but different. I'd underbid the fabric on the off chance that I got it. Here's what it was:
So I have the fabric for the dresses. I ALSO have the lace for the trim on the camisia, 17 yard of it from Ebay:
I'm super excited.
