Snowball, The Bicycle
I purchased a used bike, hooray! I named her snowball because she's white and well, I have to name everything. I think I will keep her fairly dirty so she'll be less likely to be stolen.
Yesterday was my maiden journey on Snowball and today at lunch I'm going to ride down Lake Wa Blvd. to Seward Park and go around the loop a couple of times.
I was going to wait until I had enough "extra money" to purchase a new bike, but decided with this lovely weather, I should get a less expensive used one instead. The bike is a really good, high quality bike and it was well taken care of by the previous owner.
Bean likes to bike a lot and Matthew mentioned going on the Burke Gillman Trail with me once I got a bike, so it will be fun to bike with friends. Also, though, this is a really good alternative to jogging for my daily workout because eventually jogging is going to wear on my knees.
