conservative/liberal

well, i woke up real early this morning like i said i would, but i don't remember doing it, because when i woke up for the second time, it was later, and i had my phone in my hand(from where i had turned off my alarm). this all okay though, as i still made it to the library like i wanted to. my book was not in, but i put it on hold, as well as requested a transfer from the berea library for another book i wanted. after that i kinda went on a book spree, one of the biggest ones i've had in a while. i instantly got the Hedge Knight, which is a graphic novel written by george r r martin, and then i found myself in the political science/government section of the library. for those who don't know, i'm going to change my major to political science in the spring.
i decided to pick up ann coulter's book Slander with a subtitle of Liberal Lies about the American Right. anyone who knows me can ascertain that i'm socially and economically liberal, and thought this book would be a good read, to see what the other side has to say. for good measure, i chose an al franken book as well. like i said, i sort of thought maybe coulter's book would provide some insight into the conservative side of the government that i hadn't noticed, or maybe appreciate that side a little more, but so far, after almost 30 pages all she's done is bash liberals and say that they are all liars. i'm gonna give it the full book though before i give a solid review. i hope it gets better.
the Hedge Knight was really good though.

tennis definitely on monday; it doesn't get any better than that. well, it does, but i suspect she's still not in the mood for a relationship, so it's as good as it's going to get for a while.

for anyone who doesn't know, Kate is by far the most gorgeous girl alive. on a scale of 1 through 10, with 1 being that girl from everyone's high school who had extra parts at birth, and 10 being Eliza Dushku, Melinda from the Real World, and Giada De Laurentiis from the food network all rolled into one woman, Kate is easily a 306. if the Olympics had a sport based on beauty, Kate would win the gold medal in the decathalon. and just to make it obvious, if the FCC allowed a new tv station that showed only the world's most desirable people, Kate's face would be on it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
