nyahaha the finale of the nus centennial celebrations was fun! they were screening man of letters & mom's friend was directing it so we had 3 free tix :D hahaha tonight's the closing night & i actually felt like going again juz to waste time, but it ends quite late tonight. pfbt.
apparently somebody donated 10 million bucks to nus medical faculty for its centennial year. if somebody donated that much to ny we wouldnt have to ke bei over who to sell our tix (sitting somewhere collecting dust day by day) to. hmmm.

pft decided not to go to bugis cuz it was too not-my-type-to-hang-around-for-5-hrs & anyway i did go there recently. ended up touring singapore. changi airport's waaaay too far.
lynette ma'am (! :D) led gloria & i around the field next to newton mrt (yeah the huge one) & walked past balmoral, towards rgs (and lynette's place) all the while barraging people who were unlucky enough to be passing us. & apparently when somebody! -pointed look- deserted us to go play tennis for a couple of hours, this someone! banged into somebody who complained that gloria & i didnt approach her even when she had e cash all out in her hand. well, we didnt see her!
and this is like the laziest i've ever been for any flag day. maybe cuz i watched jewel in e palace till too late the previous night. from balmoral (& lynettes place) we went to orchard, picked up a nice cup'o coffee at coffee bean's & headed for raffles' place. has never seen suntec city so deserted! & then got some pple there steal business wahlau got at least 6 other schs on the move lorh. so much competition -grumble-
so we couldnt be bothered to sell flags. & proceeded to eat at carl's junior! -hehe- their burgers are so muchmuch nicer than bigmac's. and the fries are interestingly shaped (: anyway! then had to pick up lynette from city hall mrt -complains- & went to clarke quay area but got lost till abt 12.30! then we saw the reverse bungee at clarke quay (which is closed due to one rope snapping recently and scaring the hell out of the riders) but it was too late to do any collections there anyhows. searched for city hall mrt & headed back to newton thereafter.
i swear i could see the base of my can! ): hahaha jass nearly filled e whole thing to the brim o.O smart to go temple! & my overall conclusion's that : angmohs are generous!
jass had this angmoh dishing out ten bucks to her, apparently. & gloria was lucky to run into this american lady at the orchard bus stop who said "do you accept us dollars?" and proceeded to extricate a 5 us dollar bill from her wallet! (i had no such luck) hahaha and my ex-senior bowei wrote in to straits times about flag day. its in inbox section in today's sunday times :D
