Bought a couch for the new apartment yesterday...$200 at Encore. It's ugly as hell, but my plan is to put this slipcover

The couch is REALLY comfy too, which is the most important thing! I had thought about buying one at a thrift store for $50 or less, but those always smell funky and have shady histories. This one was pretty clean, with the normal wear of a couch its age.
MK's bachelorette party is this weekend. I am really excited, but bummed at the same time about the amount of money I will have to spend. I've got to get down there and back ($30 in gas), pay for my cover at all the clubs we go to ($20-$30), help pay for her cover (there are 2 other hosts, so we're all trying to split costs 3 ways), and pay for my drinks + some of her drinks ($30-$50). I don't get paid til Tuesday. But I know it's going to be so much fun I will forget about the price...at least for a couple of hours!
Now all I have left to get for the apartment is a coffee table, a desk, a TV stand, a vacuum cleaner, and a table and chairs. Wow. That's a lot.
Last day at work is next Thursday!
