so. merlin 2.04. ASD;ALJFLD;ALKJFDL ALLOW ME TO FLAIL MADLY. BECAUSE THIS. THIS IS EVEN BETTER THAN LAST WEEK OH MY GOD MY SHOW IS COMING BACK LIKE IT SHOULD BE. IT HAS SHENANIGANS! AND QUESTS! EVERYTHING!
+ TEE HEE. THE OT4 IS BACK. POSSIBLY OT5. (i mean. "she has been more than a friend to all of us!" ... yeah.)
+ MORGANA. AND GWEN. GWEN AND MORGANA. HOW ARE THEY SO KICKASS TOGETHER. seriously, i loved all the little insights into their friendship, their little moment in the woods and gwen going when do i get to meet any decent men? and morgana's concern and gwen telling morgana to run and BRING HER HOME and the hug at the end and asd;aljkls;lfkjsl THEIR FRIENDSHIP MAKES ME SO HAPPY.
+ also, MORGANA KICKING ASS IN HER SHIFT. that was so awesome. /flail
seriously. my love for morgana is sort of starting to worry me, but she's just SO AWESOME I CAN'T EVEN. I MEAN. swinging her sword and being a badass and LOOKING BACK WHEN SHE HEARS THE SCREAM and her utter, obvious love for gwen ("she's more than just my maid!") and yelling at uther and yelling at arthur and OH MORGANA. ILUSFM.
+ OH GWEN HOW AWESOME ARE YOU JUST LOOK AT HER GO. kicking ass and taking names, that's what. pretending she's morgana and doing a fabulous job of it, too, and she's so clearly terrified, just so scared, but when hengist comes and pervs all over her she's all badass and proud and kickass and taking out that other bad guy, his howl of pain lasted, like, forever. OH GWEN SO AWESOME.
+ although lol at gwen falling down, and twisting her ankle so that she can barely walk, and then it's perfectly alright for the rest of the episode.
+ thank god arthur's finally catching up and realising that no, he can't just barge in and do whatever uther tells him not to do. and uther was fabulous. as usual. i don't get why people go on and on about how wrong he was not to send out knights. it's true that gwen would've most probably been dead had she not pretended to be morgana. it's true that she's "just" a servant, and morgana and arthur's attachments to their servants isn't all that normal, it really isn't, and he has to draw the line somewhere, and potentially losing a lot of good men just to save gwen, well, that's just not how it goes. so. you know. ILU UTHER.
+ THE ARTHUR & MORGANA SIBLING LOVE IT'S AMAZING. i just loved it, so so much, morgana begging arthur and then storming into his chambers and totally not seeing that he's actually packing and arthur gently and firmly going all, "morgana," (LIKE BRADLEY DOES TO EVERYONE LOL) and and and the packing and "BRING HER HOME" and ahhhh the love.
+ GAIUS & MERLIN HUG. I LOVE ME SOME HUGS. SO ADORABLE.

+ L-LANCELOT. I MEAN. LANCELOT! jesus christ, but that man is perfect in all the ways that count, not even kidding. you know, in an imperfect way. sort of. i love that he wasn't the perfect guy from last season, that he had his faults this time, that he hadn't had the best of times and had been affected by it. i just love it. and, well, his scenes with gwen were somewhat cheesy but i think santiago and angel really played it fantastically, it was all very real and touching and lovely.

+ i'd have wanted more of the lancelot & merlin bromance. because let's face it, they did share a bed last season. er. what. THEY DID. and i'd love to see more of their friendship because it's obvious they consider each other friends but but but. i was still ridiculously happy over melin doing some magic while lancelot's watching. ♥ it was really refreshing, knowing that merlin could do his thing without worrying that someone's there to see it.

but. you know. i'd really like an episode that's about them. we've had gwen episodes and lancelot episodes and morgana episodes, but none that actually concentrate on arthur and merlin. don't get me wrong, i love what they've done with it, with morgana especially, but. still. WHERE ARE MY BOYS. THE SHOW'S MOSTLY ABOUT THEM. IN MY MIND, AT LEAST.
