Ronon and Methos
Okay, I'm attempting to find my Fun again.
I know some of you on my Friends list are HL fans and some are SGA fans and very few of you cross over into both, that I'm aware of. But this bit involves both HL and SGA, so if you aren't acquainted with both characters, this might not hit you as interesting . . . or Fun.
Remember, lesson one in the endeavor to find Fun is that it's Fun with a capital "F" (and if you have a dirty mind you just went somewhere else that has been known to be Fun . . .)
And I'm meandering again. But meandering is good. It means I'm getting the Creative back.
So. Ronon and Methos. Both these guys are fond of swords. But Ronon, he's, well, he's big, strong and aggressive and tends to win physical fights. And while he's very, very tall, which is where the 'big' comes in, 'cause he's actually very lean and moves fast. His reach definitely exceeds Methos'. And he's survived seven years on the run from the Wraith.
Methos, he's built a bit like John. He's lean, can move quickly and has been known to fight dirty. He's also five thousand and some odd years old, at least, so add wily to the mix. He's a survivor. He's been known to retreat from a fight in order to live to fight another day. But in this case, let's assume that option is not open to him. He's there. He's stuck. He has to fight Ronon. With determination, tactics and whatever else he's got in him.
I could ask who's gonna win but I don't really care. I just want to see them fight. Two guys, very mismatched physically, but both survivors. And no pulling guns out and just shooting the other. They've got swords, hands, feet and whatever moves their tactics and survival have brought them. And hidden knives (heh, Ronon has knives hidden in his hair and you can't tell me Methos doesn't have a few stashed away).
And maybe after they're both too exhausted to keep fighting they can work it out in . . . other ways. Manly touching and all that. ;)
