"Impossible Expectations"
Most of the time when I post Drabbles, they're really plotbunnies in disguise, and eventually, when I can write something other than Choosing Family without feeling guilty, I will flush them out into full stories. Other times, ideas become Drabbles that I know I will never expand upon.
This is one of the latter, inspired by a discussion after the opening night screening of OotP, wherein I discovered how the scene in which Harry and Cho kiss could be adapted to incorporate my OTP.
JKR created everything and wrote the first line:
"Impossible Expectations"
She was much too close. He could see every tear clinging to her eyelashes.
As their lips touched, Harry knew it would be a perfect first kiss. It was, you could say, a Requirement.
And it was. Perfect.
Several lovely, lazy moments later, Harry opened his eyes.
"What the... "
"Malfoy?"
