DongHae sat on the edge of the steps to the hostel building in the rain wondering what he was doing out there. He had been sitting there for awhile, even though the rain started pouring he still didn’t feel like getting up and walking inside.

Many people were still out. Most of them were busy trying to get out of the rain that they didn’t notice an idol star sitting around in the rain.

From far away this person didn’t look all too different from the average person. He wore a plain pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. His hands held over his head at an attempt to block the rain away from his head. The only thing that made him different than the average person was the fact that he was the only Chinese person in Super Junior. He was HanKyung.

Out of all the people DongHae respected most was HanKyung. HanKyung could dance well, he was handsome, his personality was great, and he was almost perfect. Most of all what DongHae respected the most about him was HanKyung’s ability to withstand hate and being separated from his parents.

DongHae knew that HanKyung always missed his parents because he saw that HanKyung would cry by himself in the corner of a room. HanKyung didn’t know anything of it. HanKyung had always thought that when no one was watching he would cry. There was a philosophy that men should only cry when they get stung by bees, which was told by HeeChul.

DongHae thought that this thought was all wrong because he believed a man could cry whenever he wanted.

DongHae watched stop at the curb waiting to cross the street. HanKyung looked from left to right. DongHae looked carefully at HanKyung’s face.

He tilted his head to the side as if to criticize HanKyung in a way. DongHae wondered how could a guy like him be able to withstand all the hate and loneliness of being in a different country all by himself.

DongHae continued to stare at HanKyung as he thought of his own parents who were far away but not as far as HanKyung’s. Even being this far from his mother he couldn’t stand it. If he couldn’t stand it then how could HanKyung stand it when his parents are even farther away? DongHae rested his head in his cold wet hands as he thought about his father who passed away a few years back.

A few water droplets fell and hit his cheeks. DongHae looked up at the sky as his tears mixed in with the rain water that fell toward the ground. DongHae looked back towards the street again. HanKyung was still standing there waiting to cross the street.

DongHae gave a soft smile in knowing that HanKyung was literally the strongest of the group no one else could beat him personality wise and the strength that he had inside.

DongHae watched as he saw HanKyung cross the street and look up. When their eyes meet DongHae and HanKyung give each other a soft loving smile to each other.

“He’s the only one… out of all the people in the world, whom I respect the most.” DongHae said to himself. DongHae stood up and said “HanKyung Hyung is the only one out of all the people out there.”

DongHae wouldn’t dare say this to HanKyung’s face because he would be too embarrassed. But even without saying it DongHae knows that HanKyung already knows this.

DongHae grinned as he greeted HanKyung, “Hyung, you’re home.”
