I got a costume! I’m so excited. Mary and I originally went to Disguises, but they really didn’t have anything appealing. They did have a leg avenue dress that had some potential. I tried it on and it just didn’t fit right. The dress was white and had ribbon lacing up the chest area. So Mary and I went to Spirit. I tried on another costume- this time a leg avenue sailor outfit (link:

There was not really anything to worry about, as my butt was covered and there was a decent length in front. I knew that it was a winner. However, when I showed mama it, she did not like it. She kept her comments to herself though. She’ll understand when she sees it on me. It isn’t really that bad. The picture makes the costume seem very short. Anyway, I especially appreciated the fact that it made me look skinny. I’ve lost a lot of weight everywhere. I look back at old pictures and think that I was chubby. My legs actually look decent under this dress.
So I’ve got the costume. Now I’m trying to figure out where to wear it to. Mary did invite me to go party with her and Austin, but then I learned that they are going up to Boulder and not coming back until the morning after because they are getting trashed. I don’t really know if I want to go, to be honest. I don’t really want to get drunk. The hangover is not worth it. Plus I love my bed too much to leave it for a night. Right now, I’m asking Brittany what she’s doing. Hopefully someone is hosting a party. Usually Lena does, but I haven’t heard anything from her about a party. I really hope she does!
I’m such a slacker. I need to work on my Pre-Sentence Investigation Report. I was going to work on it tomorrow, but tomorrow is looking to be jammed pack. Perhaps I’ll have time in between birthday shopping and seeing a movie with Brittany to work on it. I really hope so. It needs to get done, but my focus is off this semester. It’s because my workload is not large. It won’t be large in the upcoming semesters either. Mama pointed out that I have spread my twelve necessary classes across three semesters or risk having to pay back my student loans while I’m still in school because I’m no longer a full-time student. Originally I was going to do as such: Spring 2009- 5 classes; Fall 2009: 5 classes; Spring 2010: 2 classes. But. . .I have to begin paying my student loans that last semester. Meh. Oh well. Four classes isn't that bad! Plus, I get next summer off! WHOOP! I really need it.
