Rec: "Make All Things New" (Doctor Who)
This is a Jack/Eleven story, but it's also very much a Doctor-centric story. And anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a fan of Ten, so I've been avoiding Doctor-centric stories for a few years now. I tend to ignore wintercompanion as a matter of course and only clicked this story because I was trying to be unbiased while looking for candidates for the Jackwiki. I'm so glad I did.
"Make All Things New" leaves me reeling with anticipation for the fic to come and with the freedom to adore the Doctor again. We may know almost nothing about Eleven yet, but this is exactly the man I saw in that brief trailer, and this is exactly what should happen after the end of "End of Time." I can only hope the canon Eleven has the gumption this one does.
