Diamond Rio's beautifully sad song "You're Gone" first came out just about the same time that The Sentinel's Blair was potentially dead over the summer hiatus and then ready to leave over the final season, so of course "You're Gone" became the perfect Jim/Blair song for me; the lyrics are Jim Ellison all over. I've long since left Sentinel fandom, and more than once since then I've been sorry that the song doesn't remind me of anyone else -- since it's a wonderful song and another excuse to indulge in it would always be welcome.
Well, it popped up on the playlist just now, and huh, guess I've finally got another fandom for it. Guess I should be careful what I wish for -- 'cause I'd much rather it didn't fit Torchwood too.
