energy balancing

For the past 3 months I've been seeing a holistic MD, she used to work at the clinic I work at, but has left conventional medicine to follow her calling. Today was my 4th visit with her... I'm trying to work on myself so I can get past those pesky vices and patterns of being that no longer serve me... smoking, smoking pot, bad relationships and to ( Read more... )

heres to the road less traveled. it's really great to see you using energetic modalities. fuck prozac(unless it really works for you).
have you read Energy Medicine? ask me about it if you're interested.
i really got a big boost from my understanding of meridians, and chakras.
after becoming aware of chakras, and the energetic pathways, i have developed a visual reference for auras, and this spring i cured myself of an operable case of acute dequervains tendonitis in my right wrist. i was immobile, and thinking of getting disability, or retraining. i couldn't do my job.
i used some of the techniques in the energy medicine book, and more importantly, accepted and forgave my illness. i decided i wasn't someone who was going to whine about it, and after a few weeks of meditation, and strength building exercises, i recovered completely, getting my full range of motion back(enough with the masturbation jokes-i got plenty at work).

i empathize on the pot smoking,(wanna smoke a bowl?) it it a hard habit to control for me. fortunately, it is a little more sustainable than some of the other drugs i no longer take part in(ie. i can hold a job).
one of the biggest healers is forgiveness. mostly it is the compassion for self that forms a clearing for healing.

i am interested in the rectangle with reflector point, the liver stream, and the root and solarplexus meditations. i am aware of a fairly consistent split in my root chakra. i have had zero point healers work with me a little bit, but there is alot of healing that i have to do myself. i don't yet know if there is a muscle memory trauma at the "root" of that one.

Hmmm... may need to reply later, but maybe I can get a brief reply in... no, have not read that book. Who is the author? I should check it out. Ok, can't type right now, but I want to continue this conversation. Its nice to get some affirmation from someone who has benefitted from some energy work themselves. Sometimes its a leap of faith that anything is actually happening. Talk more later... Have a great rest of your weekend.
