nearing the dreaded end.....
well its nearing the dreaded end of an awesome summer....time flies so fast these days before you know we'll all be starting school, my birthday will come, then everyone will be back for winter break....i could say that time flies when you're having fun but that simply hasn't been my summer at all. I mean it's been fun and all but some of the memories i take with me for this summer are not pleasant at all by any means......but to those who are leaving sooner than i think here's my words of wisdom to you.....college is very fun yes but don't slack off this is your time to shine and that is my biggest piece of advice.....college defines what you will do with your future and speaking from past experience i know i've changed my major three times already! :) For those who are traveling long distance to college....be prepared for at least some homesickness heck i had it when i was 30 minutes away from home it isn't that difficult to get. For those who think they won't get it you will home is where your heart is and it won't be in somewhere else for a long time........open yourself up to new experiences and opportunities and your college experience will be fruitful in all its aspects. Here's a few words for those who are leaving this week and beyond:
1. Kevin, Brandon, and all you Mason peeps heading with me-we will be each other's support group! Patriots rock!
2. Buck, Justin, Erika, and those who will be Rams at VCU-ill be seeing you often! Good luck guys! :)
3. Rob, Loran, and for all those going way far from us- i hope that you do well and dont forget us back here :) I love you all!
4. Mike- fourth and def not the least person-you are a kind gracious human being who will soon perform the works of God. I am so proud of you in all that you have accomplished! :) I love you and good luck out there in Brazil! :)
