An Update
Aaron was supposed to be passing out last Friday, but he didn't. He failed his Commando Tests because he's fractured both bones in his right leg. The doctors say it's an old fracture, so he's been hobbling around on the thing for about a month. He's got an MRI scan in a couple of weeks time to see what, if anything, they can do. So he won't be passing out now until at least February.
Which completely screws up my applying to uni. There aren't many places that do Paramedic Science, but I'd have liked to have an idea, and in the original plan, I'd know by now where he'd be posted to. But now I have to apply to any uni that's remotely near one of the Marine bases and hope I get into the one he's going to.
Basically, this is why I haven't been on recently. Stressed out about finding out where we'd be going, then stressing because of his leg and just... urgh. Boys. Potential Marines. Stupid creatures that they are.
I'm not sure when, if ever, I'll be back. I think I'm kinda losing the fanfiction bug now. I don't know whether it's down to all this or whether it's me working stupidly lots or what, but I just don't know if I can be bothered with it. It makes me sad, really.
Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and let people know I'm not dead.
