A new food place - Waraku!

Lolz.

So guess what we Singaporeans just spent the evening doing? :)

We found - or rather, we were introduced (courtesy of JW) to a new Japanese restaurant!  And believe me, maybe it works out well that I'm running an "intestine infection" (according to the doc, anywayz) and couldn't take in more than a few delectible mouthfuls... as it is, I sat there in torture as the rest of the gang enjoyed themselves immensely!  Atleast, I managed to capture some pics of the food, so there is still a feast for the eyes if not for a sick tummy:)

Instead of the usual sushi and stuff that you would normally order in a restaurant such as this, we decided to go on recommendations by our "food guide" JW.. and ordered Japanese pizza as one of our centre dishes!

The delicious Jap pizza which someone ordered but forgot the name of.. LOL

The here is another Chicken Udon dish.. ordered by Ben..

A salmon pizza which looked delicious... reports say that it tasted exactly like McDonald's Filet-o-Fish, though probably a flatter version.. lolz.  Don't be deceived by the looks of the megapix, tho...this wonderful pizzie made up a grand size of about 6 inches in diameter!

But for me, the crowning dish of the night was this extremely cheesy, uber-delicious dish!

I couldn't resist sneaking a few mini-mouthfuls of it, encouraged by Oreo who gave me the first mouthful, and discouraged by Ahong who very promptly reminded me that i wasn't supposed to take cheesy stuff with my present stomach condition..bleah!!! It was torturous to have that plate sitting in front of me and yet forbidden under current circumstances to eat any more of it... I'm definitely going to order it again next time i go there!

And lastly, just a fun pic to emphasize the extremely huge bowl that the waiter served the dishes in, and the mini-bowl that they provided when we asked for a spare bowl!  Guess who got the small portion...lolz...

All in all, it was a wonderful meal.. a little pricey a place for a casual meet up, but then, tonight wasn't any old chill out, either... it was in celebration of Oreo and Ahong's completion of their exams! :)

Definitely gonna visit that restaurant again soon...once my stomach gets better!
