[Likely sometime before his jaunt to the clothing store, after spending an oddly frustrated day trying to figure out what to do in her situation, Raine is in the forest near the stream, having an almost stare off with the "cloak" that is laying in a small folded bundle on the bank. An "almost" one because she's finally come to the realization that she really can't be off without it, and this experiment only does last a week. Might as well just accept the circumstances, no matter how frustrating.]
[Michael was making his way along the bank, following a fish as it swam slowly downstream to the lake, when he saw Raine and... something else sitting on the bank by her. He couldn't quite make out the shape for the grass surrounding it, but he was certain it smelled...
Interesting. Slowly and carefully, he closed the distance between himself and the bundle in something halfway between a cat's stalk and a soldier's belly crawl. And after a few silent, still moments to judge the distance, he explodes from the grass behind Raine, landing in a roll on top of the bundle.]
[That interruption from her thoughts was not what she expected, and she lifts her head up in something akin to alarm once she realizes just what he's landed on top of. Mixed and confused emotions regarding it was one thing, but the idea of someone else getting a hold of it--]
[It'll take another few seconds, but the familiar voice will eventually start to register in Michael's mind, and that starts a snowball effect of realization. With one last acrobatic tumble, Michael is back on his feet, looking like the cloak just magically appeared in his hands.]
-Ah. Raine! Sorry about that. It seems I didn't get off as lucky as you for this experiment~
It's fine. I've noticed that it's been difficult for those changed to overcome their new instincts. [After all, she has her own. Her expression resumes it's usual calm look, but she will reach a hand out for the cloak after a moment.] May I?
Hm? ... I just thought I'd try something new, that's all. [It doesn't really feel like an ordinary cloak, though. And that coloring is quite close to her shade of hair. Which also looks a bit... different. Longer.]
[He detects something amiss, dear teacher.] Well, I guess it's a good color for you... but still not quite right, especially for this time of year. I'm not quite an expert on fashion, but I'd be glad to help you pick out something better in town~

Where did you get this, anyway? Doesn't seem quite your style, professor~
[He gives her a quick once over.]
