~ Spring 2009 Anime ~ Quick Impressions Part 7
Second episode is out but my download isn't done yet =_= But I now have an idea on what's going on thanks to summaries. Mio's so adorable. I thought she'll be more of a tsundere type, but it's still pretty cool if characters aren't what you expect them to be. Ritsu is as crazy as ever. And whoa, I love Tsugumi's elegance and it can already be seen in the clothes she wears xD As for Yui . . . haha, as if I've paid attentioned to her >_> . . . ^^;
@= Guin Saga - I . . . don't like it =_= I thought I'm gonna be liking all the series this season that have characters with amnesia, but I guess this is one of the exceptions. Story was so MEH to me. Palace got attacked then royal siblings escaped to some faraway forest them some really strong guy rescued them and ends up being their bodyguard. I'm so not impressed. Bored me most of the time. The male twin gave me damn headaches. He's so useless and annoying. I really can't believe that I'm liking the female twin more. She's so decent. She's not pathetic like her brother. I admire older sisters like that. But even if I'm finding the leading girl likable, I can't watch more of this series x_x I'd really like to save myself from boredom and headaches. Dropped.
@= Hanasakeru Seishounen - I can't believe it O_O I didn't really have a very good first impression on this. But now that I've seen the first episode subbed, I ACTUALLY LIKED IT O_O Yes, it's the usual shoujo crap, wherein the leading lady is so perfect and everyone admires her and she's got bishounens to choose from. But at least, the "perfect" leading girl is actually worth respecting o_o She's being admired and respected because she also knows how to do the same thing, unlike the others who usually get such admiration and respect because of moeness and prettiness =_= She's righteous too. She's rich and beautfiul but not boastful or bitchy. She reminds me of the leading girl of Akuma to Love Song. I love these type of women xD And ah! I love her interaction with her dad xD They were so fun~ They made me laugh and squee for the father-and-daughter love xD I like her dad, and I like the other bishies too. I already like Li Ren, but I'm not sure if he'll be my favorite since the other bishies haven't showed up yet ^^; And that baby face bodyguard . . . his looks really reminded me of Syaoran ^^; But attitude completely different ^^; As for those extra characters . . . those girls bitching and blushing really annoyed me though =_= I'm glad there hadn't been much bitch bullying, because it annoys the hell out of me. I'm most pissed off at the girls who got disappointed because the love the leading girl was talking about wasn't some lame cheesy romance + bed >_> Oh I love it that the leading girl considered her pet leopard as her most beloved xD PETS >>>>>>> boyfriends xD ROFLz!!!!! Anywayz, main story seems to be an arranged marriage thing, but done in an. . . .err . . pretty unique way ^^; Some story parts still made me go DUH! but . . . . I think I'll continue watching this xD Oh this is such a surprise. I thought Ristorante Paradiso will be the one I'll end up liking instead of this but it became the other way around ^^;
@= Basquash! - I just saw the OP theme, and it was really cool xD I hope there were more cool guys in the series. And I still can't get used to the idea of robots wearing basketball shoes ^^; But this seems to be a really fun series. Looking forward to see the second episode subbed soon ^_^
Let's see, only Eden of the East, Metal Fight Beyblade, and Tayutama Kiss Deity have not been subbed in my to-check-out list. I'm having second thoughts on Hatsukoi Limited. Slice of Life is totally not my thing. I only watch those witch crack, and I don't think HL has crack >_> 80% chance I'll pass on it >_>
