~ Spring 2009 Anime ~ Quick Impressions Part 6
Whoaaaa . . .so many subs were out recently. And I'm happy xD
But damn, it's so easy to capture my interest that's why I ended up checking out a lot of series x_x It's also very easy to please me, that's why my watchlist is getting longer . . .and longer . . .and longer . . .. aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! O_O;;;;;
Anywayz, before I talk about the subs I've been watching recently, I just noticed something while rebrowsing the Pandora Hearts raw manga chapters:
THERE WAS A BLACK UNICORN!!!! *_*
I hope this will be in the anime. I obviously freakin' love unicorns and damn it I want to see this beautiful creature so badly *_*
@= Basquash! - I FREAKIN' LOVE BASKETBALL!!!! DRIBBLING AND HOOPS FTW!!!!! It's so awesome. The basketball stuff there were so wild and badass. I freakin' love that. It makes me excited xD Some story parts had been . . . errr . . .typical shounen though. And there's also the perverted fanservice. Especially on Miyuki's boobs o_O There are also hinted perverteness (as in SEX) but didn't really happen, but still, such green minded thoughts in such a shounen show . . . .little boys shouldn't learn that x_x Oh well, whatever the crap is with the story, main story had been pretty interesting. I'm curious on what their moon is like (I mean, why the heck do they aim to be there? What's EXACTLY over there anywayz?). And oh, I like it that the pairing here is CANON. Oh at least I won't have headaches on whether they see each other romantically or not xD Even if it was presented in such a rush, but still, childhood lovers + canon = YAY! =3 Haha! But what I love most is the BROTHER AND SISTER LOVE!!! Oh that was so sweet. I'm touched ;_; So touched~ Am totally watching this. I look forward to learn more about the guy called Iceman too xD (but I still curse the episode for being more 500mb big! My HD!!! ;_;)
@= Sengoku Basara - FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!! BWAHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! So manly and badass, in other words GAR! I am freakin' entertained. I freakin' love the fight scenes in this show xD I don't think this is the type of series that will be appreciated for a good story, but for the action scenes and other entertainment xD I mean, it's like watching an arcade game. You watch it for the battles and cool WTF moves xD Wahahahah!!! And that OP!!!! DANCING SAMURAI FTW!!!!! And I love the main duo. Blue VS Red HELL YEAH! I love it when the blue guy says english phrases. I don't consider them engrish, I think his seiyuu can speka english okay. And the red one, he's just so funny xD "HE SHOOK MY VERY SOUL" Bwahahhahahahahah xD And his crazy relationship with his master. I am so entertained!!! Wahahahahahha!!!! The Kenshin character disturbs me though. Is that a "He" or a "She"??? o_O and blonde girl, who seems to exist mainly for perverted romance fanservice, is beginning to disturb me with all her blushing and boobs exposure (just rip it a little then nipple will already be visible =_=) x_x . . . . but still . . .I'm totally watching this for the fun =3
@= Tears to Tiara - for a show with fantasy cliches . . . it's pretty interesting. Moreover, IT'S GOT MEDIEVAL ENGLAND REFERENCES! AS IN THE ARTHURIAN LEGEND!!!! HOW CAN I FREAKIN' RESIST THIS???!!!! And the name of one guy is ARTHUR and there's also a DEMON KING and I really think I'm gonna like their partnership. I also don't dislike the leading girl, which is rare of course. At least, so far. I can't hate girls who is also some kind of prophetess or priestess and willing to sacrifice her life for others. And there's also brother and sister love that I adore so much xD It still annoys me that most of the cast are girls though . . . .but at least main duo are guys . . .. I guess I'll be watching this too . . . damn, watch list ;_;
@= Cross Game - I thought this seemed boring but I still checked it out and it turned out that it's actually okay. BAAAW TO TRAGIC ROMANCE! The childhood romance was so cute but damn ending for making me so sad ;_; But still, overall story was really okay. My main problem is the leading guy and the female pitcher looking so alike that I have a hard time differentiating them x_x Anywayz, I'm interested to know what's gonna happen next but I don't think this is the type of series I'll fangurl like crazy every week ^^; Hopefully it's short, so I won't have a hard time following it. If it's too long (like more than 50 episode), I seriously can't follow it x_x
@= Dragonball Kai - I can't believe I watched this but well I DID! When I saw a subbed Dragonball Kai episode MY HAND MOVED ON ITS OWN O_O Ah~ It brings back memories. I freakin' miss Dragonball. I'm amazed that they were able to compress the story of young Goku's life in several minutes. I am happy that the episode actually began on Gohan's arrival. BABY GOHAN IS FREAKIN' ADORABLE! I love that kid, and also when he grows up. Aaaawww~ I am excited to see Veggieta too (LOLz, it's cuter to call him Veggie xD) AND WILL TRUNKS BE THERE TOO? He's my favorite. Future Trunks ♥ *sigh* I can't prioritize this in my watchlist because, well, I've seen it already. And my love for it was many years ago longer compare to FMA. Maybe I'll finish this, but not tune into it every week. DAMNIT!!!!! WHY MAKE ME MISS YOU DRAGONBALL!!!! And ah! I didn't like the op and ed themes in this by the way. The ones before were hell better. Chala Head Chala is still most epic xD And also, what's with the voices? I think a different seiyuu cast is on this but still, why sound that way? I've heard the japanese, english, chinese, and filipino voices, but this new Goku sounded just too . . . horrible. Hurts my ears =_=
@= Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen - I already knew that it would turn out to be your typical shounen crap but I was still tempted to check it out at least because of the MYTHOLOGY REFERENCES xD I obviously freakin' love mythology that I had been biased enough to check out this series for that xD But well, it was really crap. I don't understand what the hell's going on. They're just fighting, cursing each other, villains go MwahahahaDIE while protagonists go imustsavetheworldSODIE, and other shounen crap. I love shounen shows, but shounen crap is . . .shounen crap. I hope you get what I mean >_> And WTF to those parts wherein someone goes "That voice?! Is that...." then comes a reply "Yes, it's Me! *insert name here*" That happened like three to four times. The hell. But well, I have to admit I got pretty entertained. Those attack names . . . "BIG BANG PUNCH!" . . . "BREAST FIRE" and many more bwahahahhahahahaha xD Then there's this villain with a face of half male and half of a female. What the?! Wahahahhaha xD But no, I can't watch more of this. I really . .. . can't xD Hahahahha!!!!
@= Ristorante Paradiso - I watched it because it gave me Ouran and Antique Bakery vibes . . . however, it's nowhere near in terms of entertainment to those two >_> Well, I did like the Italian stuff. I was already overjoyed for being able to udnerstand the simple Italian words uttered by the characters xD The restaurant guys were okay. I am impressed that they're not your typical reverse harem men, since they're older guys and some are even married. But still, they'll honestly have more fangurls if they were younger. Haha! And oh, I like the jazz music in the OP. I didn't appreciate the singing part much, just the instrumental ^^; It should have followed Baccano's example xD Well anywayz, overall, I didn't really appreciate the series. What the heck is with the girl's determined plan for her lame revenge and went all the way to Rome to do that but didn't do it anywayz? =_= And yeah, I hate her, since the moment I've laid my eyes on her. What's more disgusting is that she's already madly in love with one of the guys, whose name is Claudio. Poor guy, she was even like about to rape him in the preview of the next episode >_> Hey, I watch and appreciate jousei but this is not my kind of jousei. I'm a little curious on how Claudio will resist her but . . . still . . . I don't really appreciate this kind of shows >_>
[ NOT SUBBED ] @= Souten Kouro - I think I'll pass on this. It looked too serious and boring. OP didn't excite me either. Yeah, I listen to rock and metal stuff, but there's no actual tune on its OP theme song. I prefer the types like with Zombie Loan's OP. At least it had a nice beat. I can tolerate songs with nonsense shouting (I'm actually amused with those xD) but the shouting on this series's OP theme was just too stupid for me >_> Anywayz, I don't have much background on the original material, so most likely I really won't appreciate it.
For now I'm only waiting for a couple of series to finish airing already. I'm also impatiently waiting on 07-Ghost subs. And I would l am curious to see Metal Fight Beyblade and Hanasakuru Seishounen subbed too. While with the others I'm having second thoughts.
[ off-topic ] What is the difference between the Unicorn Gundam movie and the Gundam 00 movie (both are released next year)? O_O The word "unicorn" obviously attracted me xD And, ah! Sebastian x Ciel (of Kuroshitsuji) fans will be very delighted with this picture. ^^; I find it . . . I dunno x_x but I'm not a fan of the pairing anywayz.
