I read some Code Geass spoilers (for ep. 16 and up) during my dull moments at the office, and one of those spoilers made me go so fangurl xD:
FAVORITE SPOILER:
"Lelouch feels responsible for C.C.’s losing memories. He wears a ring on the ring finger of C.C.’s left hand, and say, “please stay with me”. C.C. calls him master (or husband? not sure) and does not leave him."
Why it's my favorite? Well, I'm a Lelouch x C.C. shipper. That explains everything xD Haha.
Also, C.C.---> Lelouch is already too obvious, no matter how many times she denies it; while Lelouch--->C.C. is kinda rare, and pretty subtle. That's why it's much more exciting than other Lelouch x C.C. stuff xD
Alright, bottomline of that spoiler is that Lelouch blames himself for what happened to C.C.; gave her a ring; asked her to stay with him; and she agrees.
Now what is the meaning of this scene of Lelouch giving C.C. a ring?
It's a ring. on a ring finger (where the wedding ring or engagement ring is usually worn). a guy giving to a girl. the guy pleading the girl to stay with him.
. . . . .
WHAT ELSE COULD IT MEAN????
HE WAS LIKE PROPOSING TO HER DAMNIT!!!! AS IN MARRIAGE!!!!! OHMYGOD!!!!!! xD There's no need for an "I love you" to show how canon Lelouch x C.C. is already!!!!! xD
Let's go back to the beginning. Lelouch and C.C. had a contract. She gave him power in exchange of a wish of hers that he must grant. As he does what he pleases, he first allows her to be around, to keep an eye on her. On the episode when he learned her true name (season 1 ep. 11), he began to consider her an important/precious partner. Though he has considered her as an equal, he still doubts her loyalty. So during the mao incident (season 1 ep. 15), he was worried that C.C. will betray him like what she did to Mao. He tried to geass her to stay by his side so that she won't reveal his secrets to others. Unfortunately for him, geass doesn't work on her, but she assured him that she'll keep his secrets. After he learns that C.C.'s cancellation of their contract was all to protect him, he rescued her from Mao's chainsaw. At the end of the episode, he asks her for a contract renewal, and she shook his hand. At the end of the first season, he sees some parts of C.C.'s past, specifically the times when she "died" and was tortured. She says that she's alone, but he disagrees and says that if she's a witch, he's a warlock. Before they got separated, he tells her not to die, but she reminds him that she's immortal.
In the current season, things were back as they were. Lelouch acting as Zero and C.C. under his command. When he was deciding on whether to approve of Xing-Ke and the princess's relationship, he was surprise that C.C. was against it. That confused him, until he realized the power of love. During the time when girls were chasing after him because of the dates that Sayoko has set, he was thinking "If only C.C. is here . . .". After Shirley's death, (season 2 ep. 14) Lelouch became determined to wipe out everything related to geass. C.C. asks if he'll erase her as well. He says that he can't erase her, even if he wanted to (which implies that even though she's connected to the geass, he has no plans on killing her). When she finally revealed to him her wish, (season 2 ep. 15) he was very much against it. He lectures her that she should value life, but C.C. is already determined to embrace death. She says he's too gentle to fulfill her wish, so she'll have Charles do it instead, and she sent him to some world. In that place, Lelouch sees C.C.'s past, beginning with her childhood. A woman who looks like C.C. asks for his name and if C.C. is someone important to him. He quickly denies it with a "No Way". But when the woman tells him that his presence in that place means that C.C. wanted to protect him even for a short period of time, his expression changed. He goes back to the real world afterwards, and he calls C.C.'s name. He says "She's my . . . my . . . " . . .but he can't think of the words. As Charles prepares to kill her, there were tears in her eyes. Lelouch says that she shouldn't have such a face. She should smile at least when she dies. And he promised her that he will make her smile. For that she escaped from Charles' grasp and freed Lelouch. Lelouch destroyed the placed, and he rescued her when she fell. When they were in a safe place, she was in his arms when she regained consciousness. He thought everything will be okay, and already ordered Rolo to rescue them. She backs away, scared, thinks of him as her new master, enumerates to him her skills. He was horrified as he realized that she had lost the memories of who she was as a geass user and immortal contractor.
(OFF TOPIC: I have a theory that C.C.'s memory loss might be caused by the emperor, like with what happened to Lelouch. He lost his powers as well when his memory about geass was altered, right? And if ever C.C.'s memories will return, there's a possibility that Lelouch has to kiss her for that to happen. That's kinda corny, but I'm buying it xD Haha!)
With C.C.'s memories gone, honestly she's no longer useful to him. . (based on the preview of the next epsiode and the spoiler) But he felt responsible for it so he still took care of her. But I believe no matter what her state of mind is, he likes her company. He wanted her to be by his side. HE NEEDED HER xD I don't care if it's out of necessity or out of love, the fact is still: he NEEDS her xD
Possible Arguments to the Spoiler:
~ But it could only be because he feels responsible for what happened to her. Loving her is the favor he could have done for her after all he had done.
~ He just wants to have someone to stay by his side no matter what. Like C.C., he just wants to be loved. It's not really because he loved her, it's just because he needed her in that sense.
~ He just doesn't want to be alone. And the ring thing is just for show. It's just to convince(?)/persuade(?) her that she should never leave him.
~ There's something with the ring. Lelouch may be plotting something.
Answer to All:
~ WHATEVER! I don't want to think xD I'm sticking to the Lelouch-wanting-to-make-C.C.-his-bride/wife idea xD Hahahahaha!!!!!
I accept the possibility/fact that Lelouch did love all these girls romantically: C.C., Kallen, and Shirley.
But with that spoiler, it's now obvious who among those girls he loved the most xD And that was enough to make the shipper in me happy xD Haha!
Out of all the women who are still alive, I'm confident that C.C.'s importance to Lelouch is either the same level as or just next to Nunally =3
Oh gosh . . . I could no longer remember how many times I SQUEEED upon typing this entry xD
OOOOOHHHHH . .. . .I wish it's true *_* Some spoilers form that page so far had already come true *_*
If ever it happens . . .I have a hunch that it'll happen either on late August or on September. NOOOOOO . .. YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME WAIT???? xD
COMMENTS ON OTHER SPOILERS:
- Nina's bomb has killed millions of people in Tokyo. When has anything Nina did been something good? -_-
- Schneizel is Lelouch's enemy, yes, but he's also plotting to fight against his father as well. What's going on? x_X
- Whoa! The Black Knights are going to betray Lelouch. I wonder how the hell Lelouch is gonna fix those problems x_x But this is what I like about Code Geass . . . . not everything that the leading character does goes well ^^; Things can go wrong no matter how perfect your plans and strategies are. That's reality. *sigh*
- Lelouch, after the betrayal stuff, becomes a warlock and only have a few people at his side. The ones that will definitely stay with him are C.C. (of course), Rolo (of course), and Jeremiah (for Marianne, and he also became his personal guard). The ones very likely to stay on Lelouch's side are Sayako (for loyalty to Lelouch-sama and Nunally-sama) and Kallen (she almost betrayed but he said something that got her trust back). Others that were mentioned but I have doubts on being true are Cornelia and Villeta.
- There's a spoiler of Rolo being Nunally's real brother and Anya being Lelouch's real sister. x_X Well, at least that explains the similarity of Rolo and Nunally's hair color . . .and also the idea of Rolo being like the male version of Nunally. Anya does look similar to Marianne, they have similar hairstyle if Marianne's hair is tied up. It also explains why Anya has a picture of young Lelouch. Though I accept this possibility . . . it's just pretty shocking. But at least this gives a huge chance of Lelouch truly caring for Rolo, since he's the biological brother of the "sister" he loved xD Hehe.
- Rolo is not yet dead but sooner or later . . .he will. Baaaawww ;_; He died saving Lelouch. See that great brotherly love? Baaaaww ;____; This reminds of of Euphie's death ;___; A lovable character dies in each season. Baaawww ;_;
